About your humble host

Hallo there, my name is Björn Werkmann, I'm a Frankfurt-based author, writer, occasional gamer of both casual and real computer/video games and, to end this list for now, a sporadic technical translator for technicists' technicality techniques. Most importantly, though, I'm a regular vacationist in the realms of Ambient and Exotica releases and feel obliged and honored to write dedicated in-depth reviews about these genres. Oh, and by the way, my first name is exactly pronounced like the English verb burn, but with the letter j added right after the b. Sounds funny? Well, me and that beautiful Icelandic singer are entirely grateful for your correct pronunciation, but don't mind otherwise.

Please note: If you would like your music to be featured on AmbientExotica and commission a review, regardless of whether you are an up-and-coming artist or a well-known arranger, please take the time to both consider the focus of this website and to explicate your project. Links to your music are essential, sure, but even more important to me is a synopsis or abstract about your driving factors and stylistic ranges. By all means, do not hesitate to contact me, but since I receive review requests on a daily basis, I unfortunately have to select and single them out. Detailedly carved out epitomes will not remain unnoticed!
